Vlog 053 - I ordered a mid pipe from aliexpress and paired it with an amazon muffler that I ran on my other mini bike. I know, I know, it's not a name brand, but I just wanted more volume and something less bulky. Ideally, I'd want a Yoshimura Alpha Street Stainless Steel, but don't like it's $530 price. Vlog 046 - 9 months after my first “upgrades” to Selene, I got to wrenching on her again. I picked up some 3.5” tip single walled muffler deletes from Nameless Performance and slapped them on this morning. I can hear the rumble much clearer. I bailed myself pretty good with the wrench trying to torque down the bolts too. Good times! More mods going on so stay tuned.

In vlog 045 the Jucati got a new muffler with baffle/db killer because the stock one is pretty loud. It also got a clocking flange to face the carburetor backwards to allow the oil cooler to get mounted up front. See how it sounds in the vlog.

In vlog 044, the “Jucati” goes on its maiden voyage after a fresh 190cc zs190 engine swap. This crotch pocket rocket really moves and validated that the swap definitely is worth it. We went on our local loop to test straight aways and inclines and “Jucati” held her own and then some. The video is just from the GoPro Hero 8 mounted in the front of the instrument cluster. I bought the Godspeed traction s for my AWD 2014 Infiniti q60s, and it rides absolutely terrible, bouncy and I can feel every little nib in the road.
Just installed some on my q40 awd and i agree with you!!!! Shouldve just got coilovers..
Thts bcuz they have a high spring rate! So the ride is guna be stiffer! 🤷

So far so good. Last oil change i noticed there was some residue in the cans but that's it. I don't put a lot of miles on it, prolly 6k since I installed this.

I sold the bike earlier this year when i got a bigger bike. i bought a vader 125 again but dont plan to zs190 unless i have to. i might be looking into the 141cc big bore kit if i want more power. the zs190 in the jucati was crazy fast. i hit 79mph on the gps, but that speed on that little clone frame gets a little sketchy.

I’m currently building this exact motor and your videos have been absolutely helpful in my process, I have a question about those dowel pins between the block and head, do you remember how many you put there?
From what I recall realoem showed 10, when i removed my head I thought I was missing some but the forums I was on said you only need 2 minimum just to hold/guide which is what I followed and worked out well.

Good for you sir! The M42 in an E30 is the best combo you could have in my opinion. I am a mechanic and had a 1991 318i that I bought for $250 bc it was left sitting for 3 years and had rotten fuel, hoses, etc. Revived it and drove it for 150k no problem. I loved that car, still miss it.
My cousin has this beauty now. I still miss it but glad it's still kicking and in the family.

I know this is an old video. but other than reliability and the ability to push more boost, does rebuilding the engine (the m42 specifically) add any power?
my guess is it would have more power depending on how many miles the engine had.
what did you do about the camber? took mine to go get an alignment afterwards and they said nothing could be adjusted for camber.
i didn't do anything about it. car was sold shortly after, decided to go with a different project.
Usually need to buy aftermarket adjustable toe links as well.

Radium dual oil catch can kit for reliability. Then after that Cobb Stage 1+ with its tune!
Turn down the ding sound it’s too loud
You should steam all the foam before you start the install. Use the steam after installed on the out side while rubbing it down toward the open end. Also taking thin plastic film and covering the foam before installing the covers help to slip the cover over much easier. I am a katzkin authorized installer. The 350z is one of the most difficult installs. I can do a full sized f150 crew in less time than doing one of these
it definitely was a learning experience. the car is long gone but at least i have the concepts down in case i ever had to do it all over again for a different car.

i bought it off a friend when it had 5 miles haha, he actually bought it new from Kronik Racing in Simi Valley, CA and stored at my house but eventually got a ktm 390 before he even rode it again.

@@Resist_7 I think you are able to if you remove the seat cowl plastic and if you are both small riders but I wouldn’t recommend it. It’s a small bike as it is.
